How long does a website redesign take?

A custom redesign with me usually takes one to three months. The size of the site, how complex the CMS is, any custom features and how fast content and feedback arrive all affect where you land. Smaller marketing sites finish sooner. The timeline is fixed in the proposal.

The steps

We start with a free call about goals and audience. I send a written proposal with the plan and timeline. Then wireframes and a full Figma prototype, which you approve before I build anything. Then the Webflow build with SEO and speed checks, launch, and training or ongoing maintenance.

What speeds it up

Having content, brand files and logins ready on day one, and one person who gives consolidated feedback. Delays usually come from late copy, scope added halfway, or an integration nobody mentioned until week six.

Can it be faster?

Sometimes. A small site with ready content can move quickly, and I've worked to tight deadlines in bigger teams, like the Yuno site in London. What I won't skip is the prototype, testing, redirects and speed checks.

Questions

How long does a Webflow build take?

The build itself is usually a few weeks once the design is approved.

What if I don't like the design?

You approve the Figma prototype before I build, and I revise it until you're happy with it.

Will my site go offline during the redesign?

No. I build on a staging site and switch over at launch.
