You pay for two things. The Webflow site plan, which starts at $15 a month on annual billing, and the design and build. A custom build with me starts at a $1,000 minimum engagement fee, and every quote is a fixed fee, so the price is set before work begins.
What Webflow charges
Webflow changed its site plans on May 13, 2026. Basic, for sites without a CMS, is $15 a month billed yearly or $25 monthly. Premium includes the CMS and costs $25 a month yearly or $39 monthly. Ecommerce plans start at $29 a month. You pay Webflow directly, and the site stays in your account.

The number of unique page templates matters most. After that it's how complex the CMS is, custom code like calculators, how much motion you want, and whether there's content to write or an old site to migrate with redirects.
A template you set up yourself costs very little. An agency can cost many times what a freelancer does. I sit in between, with one person doing the design and the build.
How I price
Every project is fixed fee and agreed in writing before I start. You pay half up front and half on completion. The proposal lists the pages, features and timeline, so the number doesn't move halfway through.
Questions
Is Webflow more expensive than WordPress?
The monthly plan usually costs more than cheap WordPress hosting. You save on plugins, security updates and the developer time WordPress maintenance needs.
What's the smallest project you take?
$1,000. That covers a small marketing site with a clear scope.
Do I pay Webflow directly?
Yes. The site plan is billed to you by Webflow, and you own the project.
